a few years ago i came up with this random jokey theory that taehyung made a bunch of kpop idol friends who just so happened to be american because he could predict that bts would get huge in america (and the west in general) and he became buddy buddy with them in order to learn english better and then when he got busier because of these schedules in america around 2017 and such he dropped them and LISTEN i know this makes him sound like an asshole but sadly a lot of people already think that so this won't do much and also, as i said, it's a JOKEY theory based off of COINCIDENCE. here i will just list down his american kpop idol friends that he had/(has? he doesn't talk about any of them but doesn't really talk about his celebrity friends in general other than wooga squad and jon batiste that one time during the grammys if that counts), and their first and last known public interactions to prove this point which probably isn't actually a point it's just me being a silly girl.
also these first/last interactions might be inaccurate, i don't keep up with most of these people so ya know.
